Yankee Candle Nature's Paintbrush Review

Hello again.
I've got an another review for you.

I'm going to review one very favourite and rare scent. It's Nature's Paintbrush. I bought this scent here but I think it's very hard to find it now. If you want tarts or votives, you could check ebay. This scent came with River Valley (Over The River) to Europe in Autumn 2011. Unfortunately it's a retired scent. I love the label and the beautiful wax colour, which reminds you of a cool, autumn day.

Fragrance notes:
Top fragrance notes: fresh citrus, lime, bergamot and apple.
The Middle notes: spicy nutmeg, sweet cinnamon, crystallized sugar.
The Bottom base notes: sandalwood, amber, musk, sweet, brown sugar, vanilla.

So: I absolutely adore this scent! It smells like fresh autumny day. It really reminds me of clean air. It smells little bit like November Rain, but it isn't as masculine as November Rain is. I think it's a unisex scent. I think anybody who likes these outdoorsy fragrance will love it. I can smell some fruit, brisk air, spices and sweet notes... I love it. I heard that this fragrance throws very well. I haven't burnt it so I don't know.  

Yankee Candle Drift Away Review

Hello again!
It's time to review another candle. It's going to be one very rare scent - it's Drift Away.

Well, I wanted to try this scent all along! As I wrote I love all natural, watery and airy scents. Drift Away was released as a new fragrance for Spring 2010. Yes, it's definitely a spring scent. This fragrance is as always retired. They do that always. I bought this fragrance over here but as always, you may try ebay uk.

I have got some fragrance notes, but they aren't full:
The top notes: ozone, fresh greenery.
The middle notes:sea salt, white lilac, white lily.
The bottom base notes: woodsy notes, floral notes, moss.

I'm glad I bought this medium jar. It's a very relaxing scent, I'd say it's airy watery scent with some flowers. Yes, I definitely smell floral notes. I didn't expect that this scent will be floral. It slightly reminds me of Garden Sweet Pea. But I can definitely smell blue crystal waters surrounded by lush woodlands. That's it! Woodlands and flowers with fresh air by the big blue lake. I love this candle. I think anybody who likes watery fresh fragrances would fall in love with this.
I haven't burnt this candle because it's too rare to burn it.
But I'm expecting a medium throw.

Yankee Candle Oceanside Review

Today I'm reviewing another scent!

It's going to be Oceanside.
I bought this fragrance in Italy. It's still available in Europe here: yankeecandle.co.uk/oceanside and in the USA here: yankeecandle.com/oceanside. This fragrance was very rare and hard to find till this year. It wasn't released in Europe before. It was a new for USA Summer 2012 and it was retired in 2013. I really love this fragrance.

I found the fragrance notes:
The top notes: bergamot and nutmeg
The middle notes: cyclamen, ylang and grapefruit
The bottom base notes: cedarwood, musk and vanilla

Description: A quiet day at the beach... the warm, musky scent of calm sea air with touches of citrusy sunshine.

Well, this fragrance is in my favourites. It's a complex fragrance, and it is very musky and parfumy smell. I can smell citrus, vanilla, nuts and nutmeg. It's a beachy fragrance. It's an unusual fragrance. It isn't a faky smell, it's a very real fragrance. I really recommend this fragrance as it is released around the world! I haven't burnt it but it seems that it will be a lighter fragrance.

Yankee Candle Sea Coral Review

Hello everyone.
Today I'm posting second review.

I'm reviewing Sea Coral today, because I think Ocean Star and Sea Coral look gorgerous together!
I bought this fragrance over there yankeecandle.com/seacoral, but unfortunately, this fragrance has been retired. If you want to buy a large jar, you may try ebay.com or ebay.uk. It was released as a new for Summer 2014 in USA. It was released last year as a Speacial Appearance for a very short time in UK as well. It is definitely a summer fragrance!


I've got the fragrance notes:
The top notes: ozone, lemon zest, juicy apple, dewy greens and cinnamon leaf.
The middle notes: pine needle, hyacinth, ginger lily, lavender and pear
The base bottom notes: golden amber, vetiver, soft musk, patchouli and sandalwood

This fragrance is my most favourite so far. I think it's very hard to describe! But I can smell sea water (really, pure sea water), some wet fruit and spicy, tree notes. It's a very musky scent! So if you don't like any musky and powdery scents, don't buy it because it's a kind of musky scents. But I love it. It's sweet and salty at the same momment. You can actually smell cinnamon. Through the spicy, fruity and musky notes it really reminds me of sea. I don't know why. But it isn't a cologny type of scent, so if you don't like these masculine fragrances, buy it. I think it's a unisex fragrance. I love it!
And for info, I've got 4 large jars and I burnt one and it throws very well! One of the most strong fragrances I've tried.

Yankee Candle Ocean Star Review

This is my first post on my blog.

I'm going to review one of my first candles and it's - Ocean Star.
I bought it on yankeecandle.co.uk in January, but it isn't available there now. It was released in UK as Speacial Appearance.
But you may try ebay and if you're from America, you may buy it over here yankeecandle.com/oceanstar. It has beeen released as a new fragrance for Spring 2014. I think it isn't a spring fragrance, but I very like it!

I found the fragrance notes for this scent:
The top notes: ozone, fresh aloe, cactus milk and citrus
The middle notes: lily of the valley, lotus blossom and melon
The base bottom notes: musk and wood

Fragrance family: fresh
Availability: USA/Europe - Speacial Appearance

Description: Soothing and fresh... the scent of peacefull       sun-kissed waters laced with aloe, citrus and lotus blossom. Dive in!

This fragrance isn't musky at all. I can really smell aloe, cactus milk, citrus and blossoms! If you like Turquoise Sky, or citrus scents, you may try this scent, because it's  very similar to Turquoise Sky (but it isn't as musky as Turquoise Sky) It is a really fresh, clean fragrance. I can really smell the water. But this fragrance can evoke the smell of fake, ocean toilet smell.
It isn't in my 5 Top fragrances, but I like it.

It seems, that this candle will throw very well.
